It’s that time of the year, where I swap out my winter themed home decor with lighter, more eclectic pieces! Think comfort mixed with nostalgia. Specifically, I am loving the throwback to the 1970’s with classic and crafted textures. I want to embrace the handmade feel of the era, specifically bold prints with a modern twist. Incorporate earth tones common in retro design, with touches of pastel to account for spring! There’s no place I would rather go for a summer home decor refresh, than Walmart! Let’s take a look at two trends this summer featuring some of my favorite picks!

I absolutely LOVE this trend right now. Home decor and furniture with basket, wicker, and rattan vibes… they look handmade. However, they are much sturdier and more affordable!
Trend #2 – Retro and Eclectic

Let’s talk about the retro 1970’s… they were so fun with wild colors and designs. Well, it’s time to bring that back with these fun pieces!
As you can see, Walmart always has the best trending home decor at an affordable price. The quality and selection is on par with more expensive stores… which is why Walmart is always my first stop when swapping out my furniture and seasonal pieces for my house!
What do you think friends? Are you doing a home decor refresh for spring/summer? Do you have any of these pieces? XOXO.
